Water pump bearings are double row
bearings, different than conventional double row bearings. It
does not have the inner ring but raceways machined directly into
the surface of the shaft which enables more space to rolling
elements and hence has higher load carrying capacity than
conventional bearings.
Water Pump bearing has one outer ring which can accommodate two
rows of rolling elements and protect bearing failure due to
misalignments.
